Story: The secretary of a writer and his wife investigates the disappearance of her lover - who was her employers previous secretary - and finds herself the target of the couples erotic desires and a murder plot.

Greta Franklin, a beautiful American blonde, arrives on an island near Venice and rings the door-bell of Richard Stuart, a famous novelist who lives in a beautiful house with his wife Elonora. She manages to be hired as Richards new secretary, the former one having disappeared without a trace. What Richard and Eleonora do not know - yet- is that Greta has a secret motive for taking the job: not only did she know Sally, her predecessor, but she was her lover...

The secretary Greta Franklin travels from London to Venice to work with the prominent writer Richard Stuart, who lives with his wife Eleanora Stuart in an island. Greta is replacing his previous secretary Sally Reece that is missing. When Police Inspector Antonelli interviews Greta, he learns that she accepted the job to investigate what has happened to Sally, who was her friend. Soon she suspects that Richard has murdered Sally, but she cannot find any evidence to prove her theory to the inspector.
