Story: The wife of a successful movie producer takes a car trip from the south of France to Paris with one of her husbands associates.

Anne is at a crossroads in her life. Long married to a successful, driven but inattentive movie producer, she unexpectedly finds herself taking a car trip from Cannes to Paris with a business associate of her husband. What should be a seven-hour drive turns into a carefree two-day adventure replete with diversions involving picturesque sights, fine food and wine, humor, wisdom and romance, reawakening Annes senses and giving her a new lust for life.

Cannes, France. Suffering from an earache, Anne cant accompany her affectionate but workaholic Hollywood producer husband, Michael, to Paris. Instead, Anne unexpectedly takes a long road trip through France with Michaels French colleague, Jacques, who has volunteered to take her by car to the City of Lights, where Michael will meet her. However, as they drive across the picturesque French countryside, bonding over light-hearted conversations, two perfect strangers gradually find deeper meaning in life, one gastronomical delight at a time. After all, Paris can wait.
