Story:
After her husband is killed in a car accident, Peg, who is deaf, has a nervous breakdown. Her mother assumes custody of Pegs daughter Lisa but after Peg recovers, Pegs mother refuses to let her daughter take back custody,
John and Peg are both deaf and they have a six year old daughter, Lisa. On their way to Pegs parents they have a car accident and John is killed. Peg has a nervous breakdown and Pegs mother temporarily takes care of Lisa. But when Peg recovers, her mother wont let her take care of her daughter and files a lawsuit to become Lisas legal guardian.
