In a working-class Chicago neighborhood occupied by an alien force for nine years, increased surveillance and the restriction of civil rights have given rise to an authoritarian system - and dissent among the populace.

Chicago, 2027. Unable to defend our world against the multitudes of far superior extraterrestrial invaders, the Earth has capitulated to the alien forces and their new appointed rulers, the otherworldly Legislators. And having established a new order, the unearthly intruders have managed to control the enslaved population nearly one long decade after the invasion. Under those circumstances, young survivor Gabriel secretly joins the Phoenix resistance group, catching the attention of Chicago Police Commander William Mulligan: a faithful collaborator obsessed with finding the insurgents. But now, there is no turning back. Can the spark of freedom ignite a war?
