Story: Fearless and full of laughter. Captain Sharky and his lively crew are off to exciting and frightening adventures where they learn that there is more than being the most fearsome pirate - being a good friend.

CAPTN SHARKY may be small, but he sure believes himself to be the most fearsome pirate of the seven seas. His stately ship is as good as ready for her maiden voyage and all Sharky needs is a compass and a real crew. Little did he know that both will have their price - Accidently Sharky has quite a bit of stowaway on board: MICKEY, whos wrongfully taken as a thief, and BONNIE, the ADMIRALS daughter, who ran away from her father. Turns out she has the compass that Sharky so desperately needs. But shell only trade it for a place on his ship. A girl and a landlubber - not exactly the ruthless and unscrupulous crew Sharky was hoping for. Especially now that the admiral believes Sharky to be Bonnies kidnapper, the little pirate wishes to be more like OLD BILL and his lot. But the old pirate is more interested in the price on Sharkys head than in helping him defeat the Admiral. Sharkys false pride makes for another bump in the road. Soon he has to realize that theres more to life than being the most fearsome pirate and thats being a true friend. When Bonnie and Mickey are held captive by the Admiral, Sharky is bravely on his way to rescue his friends when his ship gets hit by a canon. In the end it all works out and Sharky ends up with the best pirate crew after all: Mickey cant wait to sail the high seas and the admiral admits that Bonnie makes for a far better pirate than a lady. If Sharky initially just wanted to be the most fearsome pirate, he is now a real captain.

With Mickey, a normal young boy whos ordered life has broken out into a completely new direction due to Sharkys spontaneity, and Bonny, a trouble shooting girl who tends to assume command in every situation much to Sharkys dismay, they will enjoy seafaring adventures of plunder, pillage and piracy as they thwart the plans of arch enemies The Admiral and Old Bill the Pirate. It starts as a pure alliance of convenience, but along the way they will explore themes of friendship, fairness, loyalty, tolerance and what it means to be a hero.
