Having dedicated themselves to the preservation of cryptids, exotic animals whose existence is unsubstantiated, cryptozoologist Lauren Gray and her conservationist mentor Joan have managed to assemble a melange of those mythical creatures from around the world. As Lauren embarks on a desperate mission to locate the dream-eating Baku, nefarious adversaries have set their sights on capturing the extraordinary beings to harness their powers for military use. Will Lauren find the rare Baku before it falls into the wrong hands?
