It is prom night in middle America. Tuxes have been rented and dresses have been bought. But when the dead unexpectedly rise from their graves to eat the living, its up to the geeks, the nerds, the outcast and the losers who couldnt get dates to the dance to save the town from the undead. Unlikely heroes will rise to the challenge as they are forced to put aside their differences and band together to fight for their lives. Armed with bats, sledgehammers, garden tools and guitars, this rag-tag group of high-school teens are in for a prom night they will never forget.

As the deleterious fumes of a nuclear power plant reanimate the sleepy dead of an entire cemetery in Georgia, the Peach State, rotten resuscitated cadavers emerge from their graves. As a result, against the backdrop of the annual high school prom, the sweet scent of teenage flesh attracts the army of famished walking dead. Now, its up to the nerds of the Sci-Fi club and a motley crew of dateless young defenders to stop the impending zombie apocalypse on the most crucial night of the academic year. However, the smell of blood is intoxicating. Who gets to live to see another day after the deadly dance of the dead?
