Story: A Greek girl meets a French woman in Constantinople.

Djam, a Greek girl, is sent to Istanbul on a mission to find a motor-boat part of her uncle, a former sailor and great fan of the Greek musical style rebetiko. In the city, she meets Avril, a French woman who works as a volunteer with refugees but who has run out of money and not known in Turkey. Generous, fearless and unpredictable, Djam leaves with Avril to Mytilene - a journey of music and encounters.

Greece, Lesbos Island, November 2016. Teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, Djam, a free-spirited young Greek woman, is dispatched by her stepfather on a mission to Constantinople to collect an engine part for his decrepit boat. In Turkey, Djam runs into somewhat lost Avril, a penniless French 19-year-old woman, and just like that, the perfect strangers embark on a long journey back to Greece: a journey of exciting chance encounters, music, and hope.
