Story: A preacher is accused of adultery, and he and his followers are chased out of town. They become stranded in an isolated forest, which is haunted by the spirits of long dead Native Americans.

A reverend, Will Smythe, and his followers are chased out of town after Smythe is accused of adultery and polygamy. Joined by a rugged woodsman, Marion Dalton, who wants his cheating wife, the group ventures into a valley, where dwells an ancient evil spirit. As members of the group start to disappear, the witch-bred, insane Leah must discover how to thwart the spirit.

The American Frontier, 1750. Banished forever from his tight-knit community, adulterous preacher Will Smythe and his flock of followers embark on a long journey to find a new home. Eventually, having escaped death by the skin of their teeth after a sudden, violent attack by indigenous Shawnee warriors, the settlers take refuge in an isolated, off-limits territory and set camp. But before long, horrifying visions plague the group, and tragedy befalls them. Now, more and more, vague rumours that malevolent spirits haunt the intruders Promised Land threaten to destroy the dream. Is it true that ancient evil resides deep in the heart of the gloomy, dark forest?
