Story: A group of Marines return to Vietnam with a news crew to relive their tragic war experiences.

USMC Captain Ramsey is part of a group of US veterans invited, with war victims son Brad Jordan, by the Vietnam government to revisit their battlegrounds now that international relations are friendly in the post-Cold War age. Initially he refuses to face his units darkest, most traumatic memory, but he accepts after an affair with a guide. The violent past is slowly reconstructed through site-stimulated flashbacks and finds a way to catch up and spark another drama.
