Story: Roshni Chadha is the only child of Sharda Chhadha, and has no knowledge of the whereabouts of her absconding dad, Prakash Chhadha. Roshni is introduced to Rahul Malhotra and both are attracted to each other. Rahul finds out that she can sing, assists her in becoming a professional singer, and she becomes famous nationwide. She has a fan named Jaggannath alias Jaggu, a street-wise small-time black-marketeer, but she chooses to ignore him. On a trip to Mauritius with Rahul, Roshni is apprehended by the police and arrested on the charge of possession of drugs. She is imprisoned, and Rahul is nowhere to be found. Then a lawyer and Jaggu come to her assistance, but are unable to do much, as Roshni is found guilty, and in keeping with the laws of that country, her sentence is - death! —rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

On a trip to Hong Kong; a female Indian nationality, Roshni Chadha is apprehended by the police on the charges of drug smuggling. When question she claims that she was framed by a man named Rahul Malhotra. A subsequent inquiry proves that there was no man with Roshni and thus she is sentenced with death penalty. An admirer of Roshni; Jagan Nath and her advocate dad Prakash comes to her aid and arranges to prove her innocence in a court of law albeit unsuccessful. This prompts Jagan Nath to take steps that will help Roshni escape from jail.

Roshini a stage singer in Bombay living with her mother Shardha,Prakash Chadha her father had left her mother while she was pregnant and never returned,Jaggu a street smart crook is an admirer of Roshini and loves her but she ignores him.Roshini meets Rahul who helps in her stage shows and they become very close to each other.After the death of her mother Roshini decides to search her father she meets her uncle and finds that her father is living in Hong Kong.Roshini along with Rahul decides to go to Hong Kong where Roshini is arrested on the airport for possession of drugs.Rahul who had panted drugs in her bag manages to escape and Roshini is sent to jail.Jaggu who had escaped to Hong Kong after Bombay police was on lookout for him reads about Roshini in newspapers and comes to meet her in jail. Jaggus boss is a lawyer whose none other than Prakash Chadha he finds that Roshini is his daughter but doesnt disclose it.Hong Kong law gives death sentence to Roshini for drugs possession but before that Prakash and Jaggu have to find Rahul and prove her Innocent.
