Story: An American art student in Rome accidentally triggers the return of Mater Lachrymarum - the Third Mother - and must use her latent magical powers to end the witchs reign of terror.

An ancient urn is found in a cemetery outside Rome. Once opened, it triggers a series of violent incidents: robberies, rapes, and murders increase dramatically, while several mysterious, evil-looking young women from all over the world gather in the city. All these events are caused by the return of Mater Lacrimarum, the last of three powerful witches who have been spreading terror and death for centuries. Alone against an army of psychos and demons, Sarah Mandy, an art student who seems to have her own supernatural abilities, is the only person left to prevent the Mother of Tears from destroying Rome.

Death, chaos, and darkness befall Rome as a sulphurous curse plagues the ancient city when archaeology intern Sarah light-heartedly decides to unveil the mystery of a freshly-unearthed 19th-century coffin with a rune-covered urn chained to it. Trembling at the very thought of a new age of witches and the terrible advent of the pitiless Mater Lachrymarum--the dark mother of tears, and the last of the abominable Three Mothers--Sarah must navigate through an urban maze of horrors, infested with the black witchs zealous followers. However, can a mere mortal stand in hells way, during Romes second fall?
