Story: A reservation goes awry when two renters one with a dog and one with a cat must share a house.

Spencer is a cat person. Lara is a dog person. Spencer is headed to a beach town to work on his thesis. Lara is coming to the same beach town to escape the shambles of her life. Their personalities couldnt be more different, but when a reservation screw up lands them - and their pets - in the same vacation rental house, they all have to figure out how to get along with each other.

Neat freak academic Spencer Hodkins rented a lake house to finish his psychology thesis, accompanied only his cat Mozart. Rich owner Ellen, who runs the town gallery, double booked the house, so hes stuck with aimless MBA Laura Haley, who brought her dog and a tacky taste, yet is offered a job by Ellen. The pets soon go from chasing to friendship, their owners hesitate, as he has a pushy fiancee, Susan Vance, and she intends to stay with a couple of study buddies, but those encourage her to attempt chasing him by staging a baby shower. Cupid still strikes, but the truth is stumbled upon while Susan makes a surprise visit.
