Story: After a botched money delivery, Lola has 20 minutes to come up with 100,000 Deutschmarks.

Lola receives a phone call from her boyfriend Manni. He lost 100,000 DM in a subway train that belongs to a very bad guy. Lola has 20 min to raise this amount and meet Manni. Otherwise, he will rob a store to get the money. Three different alternatives may happen depending on some minor event along Lolas run.

Lolas boyfriend Manni works as a runner for a mobster and leaves a bag full of his employers money on a subway train. Frantic, he calls her and says that unless he can come up with the money in the next 20 minutes, hell have to rob a grocery store to get it. Lola heads to her fathers bank to see if he can help her. At this point, the film shows three possible outcomes of Lolas attempt to get the money - not all of which necessarily result in a happy ending.
