Story: After being dumped by her fiancé for being unadventurous, a woman (Amy Smart) sets out to prove him wrong by tracking down the handsome stranger (Adrian Grenier), whose cellphone she found on the subway.

A young womans hope for an engagement is upended unexpectedly when her fiancé tells her he is looking for someone more adventurous. On her train ride home, she finds herself trading glances with a handsome stranger who, as he exits the train, leaves his phone behind. As she endeavors to return the phone, she finds herself on a journey of self-discovery.

After journalist Mary Landers is assigned to write a Valentines Day story about "The Meaning of Love," her long-time boyfriend breaks up with her, leaving Mary feeling that her life is boring and predictable. Riding the crowded train home, she locks eyes with photo journalist James Fielding but before they can speak, he exits and accidentally leaves his phone behind. Finding that phone changes her life and Mary discovers through James that life is an adventure, never knowing where it is going to lead. In writing the perfect love story, Mary finds herself, and realizes that love means opening your heart to any possibility, no matter how unexpected.
