When Kira Slater inherits an Animal Reserve in South Africa she must decide whether to sell it or leave the safety of her life in Chicago and risk everything for this new world with which she has fallen in love. Seeing the children from the school her uncle built and witnessing the beauty of animals walking freely in their natural habitat will convince her what the right choice is.

Kira is an up-and-coming American based web-designer who travels to South Africa to sell the Wildlife Reserve "Ukuthula" that her great-uncle left her, to young hotel mogul Artie Harrington. Once she arrives in South Africa her plans take an unexpected turn as she realizes that selling might not be the best decision for the reserve or its employees. She works together with passionate game ranger Tom, his sister Ally, and lodge bookkeeper Lawazi to ultimately save the reserve from bankruptcy as well as Harringtons greedy hands.
