Story: After hes laid off, a husband switches roles with his wife. She returns to the workforce, and he becomes a stay-at-home dad, a job he has no clue how to do.

Jack Butler is happily married and lives with his beloved wife, Caroline, and their three children, Alex, Kenny, and Megan, in a suburb of Detroit. He is an engineer who works in an automobile factory with his friends, Stan and Larry, and they go to the work in carpool with their boss, Jinx. When Jack loses his job, Caroline looks for one and finds in the advertising agency that belongs to Ron Richardson. Soon she succeeds in holding an important account in the agency and climbs positions and responsibilities. Meanwhile, Jack learns how hard the household chores and childcare are.

Happily married, and perfectly content with their distinct roles, Detroit automotive engineer Jack Butler and his wife, Caroline, have got it all figured out. Then, out of the blue, he loses his well-paying job, and unable to get back on his feet, becomes a stay-at-home dad, having to cope with their three children, Alex, Kenny, and Megan, and the domestic obligations, while Caroline brushes up on her advertising skills. Now, lustful bosses, sexy neighbors, unrelenting housework, and endless hours in the board room threaten Jack and Carolines happiness. Can Mr. Mom make it work?
