Story: A juror in a murder trial, after voting to convict, has second thoughts and begins to investigate on his own before the execution.

The police find the actress, Diana Baring, near the body of her friend. All the circumstantial proofs seems to point to her and, at the end of the trial, she is condemned. Sir John Menier, a jury member, suspects Dianas boyfriend, who works as an acrobat wearing a dress.

An actress in a travelling theatre group is murdered, and Diana Baring, another member of the group is found suffering from amnesia standing by the body. Diana is tried and convicted of the murder, but Sir John Menier, a famous actor on the jury, is convinced of her innocence. Sir John sets out to find the real murderer before Dianas death sentence is carried out.
