Story: All parents want the best for their kids, and Shahzad is no exception. Ever since his wife died hes been trying to keep their two kids, Salma and Hassan, on track. Salma is growing up quickly, and Shahzad wants to make sure shes set up with the right guy to settle down with, as he promised his wife; its part of what he considers his duty as a good father. But what does Salma want? Shahzad has no idea that shes caught up in a whirlwind romance with charismatic charmer Imi. Widower Shahzad promised his late wife he would do his best for his children Hassan and Salma, especially to find a suitable husband for Salma; he selects his workmate, the dull Haroon. However, Salma has fallen for the more charismatic Imi and neglects her studies to be with him. After she asks her father to let her choose her own husband, an angry Haroon humiliates Shahzad in front of their colleagues and Shahzad eventually finds out about his daughters secret lover. Salma runs away from home to be with Imi, Shahzad catches up with her, and there are no happy endings for any of them.
