Still working in her parents Greek restaurant, Toula Portokalos daughter, Paris, is growing up. She is getting ready to graduate high school and Toula and Ian are experiencing marital issues. When Toulas parents find out they were never officially married, another wedding is in the works. Can this big, fat, Greek event help to bring the family together?

Continuing saga of Toula Portokalos-Miller. The travel agency where she worked is closed and the familys dry cleaning business is also closed. She now works at the familys restaurant. Her daughter, Paris, is so fed up with how the family smothers her that shes considering going to a college in another city, which makes Toula and most of the family unhappy. When Toulas father learns, because of a technicality, he and his wife are not married, they decide to get married and as usual the whole thing becomes a circus.
