Story: Inspired by the true account of a 1949 Catholic Church exorcism performed in America. "Possessed", tells the story that was suppressed for nearly half a century.

In early-1950s St. Louis, the strange case of the eleven-year-old boy, Robbie Mannheim, catches the eye of the troubled former World War II veteran and now a Catholic priest, Father William Bowdern. Bearing alarming markings on his little body, while exhibiting a disturbing behaviour and an incomprehensible power after the death of his Aunt Hanna, Robbies worried parents turn to modern medicine to help their child; however, when science fails, they resort to religion. Now, with the Vaticans reluctant consent, Bowdern must face the unholy entity that possesses Robbie and perform the first documented exorcism in America. But, the dark enemy is powerful, and hell use Father Williams inner fears against him. Can the conflicted priest cast out the demon, and save not only the boys life but also his very soul?

An eleven-year-old boy starts throwing temper tantrums, vomiting on, and attacking people, and swearing uncontrollably. Furniture begins to move on its own when he is around, and he doesnt remember any of it. After giving up on the Protestants, the boys parents turn to the Catholic church for help. Father Bowden is a World War II veteran who is experiencing nightmares, flashbacks, and other personal problems, including alcoholism. He is recruited by the Archbishop to perform a series of exorcisms. This is the true account of the last exorcism known to have been done by the Catholic church.
