Story: A princess whose country has been invaded goes into hiding in Louisiana, where she has to learn to act like an ordinary teenager.

When a tiny country is invaded by a dictator, a young princess (later known as Rosie) is taken into custody by the Princess Protection Program. She is whisked away to rural Louisiana where she must learn the ins and outs of behaving like a normal American teenager. In the process of adapting to her new life, Rosie gives her new friend and roommate, Carter, a few lessons in how to act with royal aplomb.

Princess Rosalindas country has been attacked, so she has to flee the country. She does so with the help of a man working for an agency called: The princess protection program (PPP). Shes being relocated and ends up living with that very same man and his daughter, Carter. Rosalinda and Carter dont really get along in the beginning, but the more they get to know one another, the more they realise neither one of them is that bad and they even come to care for each other. Meanwhile, Carter is totally crushing on this guy named Donny, who cant even remember her name, when Rosalinda kindly points out that Ed, Carters best friend, is into her.
