Story: After discovering that his old flame now has Alzheimers, a hopelessly-in-love widower fakes his way into her senior-living community in an effort to reunite with her.

Claude is an aging theater critic who lives in Monterey, California with the company of his longtime friend and neighbor Shane since becoming a widower a few years back He spends his days worrying about his daughter Selma and granddaughter Tania, especially after his son-in-law David, a prominent politician, is caught paying prostitutes with public funds. With the scandal hurting his family life, Claude tries to keep himself occupied with his former job, going to the newspaper where he worked several years to talk with the editor to contribute new ideas. In the last visit, by chance Claude discovers a terrible news: famous theater and movie actress Lillian Blanche is diagnosed with Alzheimers and sent to a quiet senior-living community. She was Claudes first love when they were young and talented in the 1960s, but life forced them to take different ways and marry others. Still in love with Lillian, Claude asks Shane to help him fake Alzheimers and infiltrate the community to be close to Lillian and help her remember him. His first try fail but he perseveres, using letters and DVDS of her former performances; Shane meets Claude each time to know if he made any small progress. But the plan finds an unexpected bump: Selma and Tania find out about Claude entering the community and assume that he is ill; David plots to use Claude to clean up his public image; and Shane learns that Claude deceived him, making believe that Lillians husband was dead. Tania discovers the deception and decides to help her grandfather, although it could reveal the whole fraud.
