Story: A TV producer is producing a Christmas Special for the 5th year but she is then told to co-produce it with the hosts son. Initially, shes not too happy about it but - Christmas brings friends and families together.

Los Angeles television producer Maggie Baker unwittingly falls for Danny Wise, the son and former producer of his mothers popular annual Christmas special Julia Wise Lifestyle. When Maggies secret plan to reunite Danny and his two brothers with Julia during the live broadcast in Vermont goes awry, Maggie is reminded that above all, it is the love for family and friends that makes the merriest of Christmas.

Maggie Baker is all-work and no-Christmas-break. Tasked with getting her bosses three adult sons to a family Christmas in Pennsylvania, Maggie sees an opportunity to finally bring her new business idea to her boss. With airports closed due to a pending storm, Maggie convinces her bosss eldest son Danny to help her navigate the cross-country trek. Along the way, Maggie denies her feelings for Danny, convinces musician brother Derek to come along, and helps youngest brother David save the final two animals left in the shelter before the storm hits. Can she beat the storm and get the promotion shes seeking? Or will she realize shes missing out on something important: something only Christmas can fill?
