Story: Following Jigsaws grisly demise, Mark Hoffman is commended as a hero, but Agent Strahm is suspicious, and delves into Hoffmans past. Meanwhile, another group of people are put through a series of gruesome tests.

Detective Mark Hoffman is deemed a hero after he saves a young girl and "escapes" one of Jigsaws games, or so it seems. Special Agent Peter Strahm is suspicious of him after an injured Special Agent Lindsay Perez says Hoffmans name. Meanwhile, five people face a series of tests set up by Jigsaw.

Hoffman is the man to carry on Jigsaws legacy. Hes commended as a hero but the FBI agent Strahm suspects him to be the new apprentice and does everything he can to prove that hes right. At the same time five people are being tested of Jigsaw and has to face five tests and in the end only one can be the last person standing.
