Story: A frustrated womans life gets even more frustrating once she gets into an affair with a man who suffers a fatal heart attack after their fling.

Marjorie Turner is suffocating. Her younger sister Jeanine has no ambition, and her eight-year marriage to Harry puts her in constant competition with his family (all doctors), with whom he too is competing for affections. One day she snaps while food shopping and beds a mysterious man who dies right afterward. When she forgets her wallet, a vertical-blinds salesman finds it and things really get complicated from there.

A frustrated thirtysomething wife has a one-time fling with an unknown man who dies during the love act in a hotel room, so she runs away and loses her wallet. A vertical-blinds salesman finds the wallet and enters the opened room to place his blinds at the window, not knowing that a dead man lies nearby. He accidentally falls with the bar onto the head of the man and thinks he killed him and calls the woman who lost her wallet to help him. They let it look like a suicide, call the police, and leave the room. The salesmans brother is a cop who is out for a career in the Police Department, and investigates the dead man. The cop is falling in love with the womans best friend, and the woman finds out that the dead man was actually her husbands brother, who wanted to visit the family.
