Upon returning from her honeymoon, Jade discovers that the caregiver she hired to look after her recently widowed father has seduced him into marriage and has the run of the home. When he suddenly dies following a fall, Jade suspects foul play and launches her own investigation after finding out that her new stepmother had her father change his will leaving his new bride nearly everything. Its a race to expose the truth and bring her father justice while protecting her legacy.

Contractor Marco and his bride, heiress attorney Jade, hand-picked nurse Samantha to take care of her grumpy, car crash-crippled widower father, wealthy tycoon Wayne, who hired Marco to renovate his grand estate. After the honeymoon, theyre told the pair fall madly in love and got wed without them. Jade calls her stepmother a gold-digger to no avail, and a few months later finds out the recent will left the whole estate to the intruder. Contesting the testament and making a scene only discredit Jade, who is simply expelled altogether. Police detective Luke gave her a listening ear but found nothing solid, then is instructed to treat her as prime suspect in the ensuing murder of Samantha, which isnt the last as another greedy schemer stops at nothing.
