Story: A reporter and her fiance are conducting a search in the jungle for a wild boy, the lost son of a downed geologist.

Tarzan is joined by a reporter and her fiance on a journey to find a boy who was abandoned in the jungle six years earlier. The search party must also battle an evil native, who is out to kill the boy and take over as chief of his brothers tribe.

In search of missing thirteen-year-old Eric Brunik, who was lost in the jungle, photo-journalist, Myrna Claudel, and her assistant, Ken Matson, parachute into the green maze to enlist the help of Tarzan to guide them through the dangerous Zanuga territory. Against the backdrop of a fierce competition for the throne between the chiefs sons, Buhara and Nagambi, before long, Tarzan finds himself caught in the middle after choosing sides. Now, hate-filled Nagambi is bent on finding Jukaro, the Boy of the Trees, first. Can fearless Tarzan thwart his plans and save Eric, the Jungle Boy?
