Story: An aspiring young writer (Jackson) tracks a literary titan (Keitel) suffering from writers block to his refuge in rural Italy and learns about life and love from the irascible genius and his daughters.

Jeremy is a book editor in a London publishing company and is sent on a pointless mission, in Jeremys opinion, to a small town in Tuscany, Italy, to sign up Weldon, who hasnt written anything in 20 years. He eventually finds him and gives him his pitch - getting nowhere. But at least he gets to meet his cute, single daughter, Isabella. He meets her later in town, where she advises him to be honest to her dad. The second attempt is even worse. However, just before leaving for London, the appearance of another, arrogant novelist brings Jeremy back on track with Weldon.
