Story: Jacques dAthys, a French adventurer, returns to his home in Nice after an expedition to Indochina where he has picked up a Eurasian fiancée and a book that, unbeknownst to him, contains a coded message revealing the whereabouts of both secret treasures and sensitive government intelligence. This makes him the target of foreign spies, including a Marquise of mysterious Latin origin, a Hindu hypnotist and an evil German doctor, who will stop at nothing to obtain the book. —Michael Smith

While on a trip to Asia, a French adventurer Jacques gets engaged to Tin Mihn. During his stint in India, he gets hold of a mysterious book but he aint aware of its origins or value. The book has the valuable last will and testament of Rajah Oursavi, which contains clues about an Indian treasure along with some coded message revealing the whereabouts of sensitive government intelligence. Unaware, Jacques is stalked by foreign spies, an Indian god-man cum hypnotist specialized in herbal medicines and an evil German doctor, who all will stop at nothing to obtain the book. Jacques n Tin Mihn has to face burglaries, attempted murders, superfluous disguises, kidnappings, hypnoses and amnesia-inducing drugs.
