Story: The story of a peculiar love triangle involving two brothers.

Two brothers - a dwarf (Rolfe) and one of typical size (Steve). When Steves girlfriend Carol becomes pregnant, the pair are fearful that the baby will inherit the dwarfism gene. Matters are complicated still further when she finds herself falling in love with Rolfe.

Carol is an artist, Steven trains firefighters. Theyve lived together for months and plan to marry soon, except that Steves left out an important detail about himself and his chromosomes: his parents, twin brother, and many of his relatives are dwarfs. Carol learns this when Steves brother Rolfe drops by, the day after she discovers shes pregnant. Why hasnt he told her about his family? She calls on them, and they take her to their hearts. But tensions mount between the lovers as she believes hes ambivalent and angry about his family, and he thinks shes romanticizing the life and many health problems of little people. Can they get over these emotional barriers?
