Story: A young boy journeys across the boundaries of reality to a secret, haunted place, half-a-century back in time, in this tale of enchantment, shadows and lost memories.

Young Tom Long is forced to stay with his kindly Aunt and Uncle while his brother recovers from a bout of the measles. At their flat, he is, disappointed to find there is no garden in which to play, but his disappointment turns to wonder when he discovers a magical garden which only appears at night when an old grandfather clock strikes thirteen. His nightly excursions to this beautiful garden become even more interesting when he realizes that the people he meets cannot see him, except one young girl named Hatty.

Based on the classic English childrens book about a young boys journey across the boundaries of reality. Quarantined away from his sick brother, Tom is sent to live with his aunt and uncle in their small, gardenless apartment. With nothing to do and no friends, Tom spends his days bored and lonely, until a grandfather clock in the hallway mysteriously strikes thirteen and a grim back alleyway transforms into an enchanting phantom garden.
