Stockbroker Donald Todsen is shot in Hollywood hooker Marlas place during one of his weekly visits. His naive, spoiled widow Catherine had no idea. After she and Marla are threatened by two criminals to give it up, whatever Donny was killed for, they team up to find out. Lieutenant Stryker and his police sergeant discover Donald was planning to flee to Rio after liquidating all his assets, investment business partner Frank claims to know nothing.
