Story: Hoping to nab a gang of jewel thieves, a government agent poses as a crook and travels across the country with a female thief.

Vivian, Ed and Harry steal jewels in Paris. In New York government agent McBride accompanies Vivian riding across the country with the loot. She falls in love with him and gives up crime; he finds the stash and arrests her. Rival crooks Doc and Steve, who had already stolen the stolen jewels once, attempt to take them once again.

A trio of crooks -Ed Dexter, Harry Ames, and Vivian Palmer track a set of valuable pearls from Europe to America. In New York, the gang successfully pulls off the robbery. G-man Ross McBride is put on the case and posses as a fellow thief to win Vivians trust. Hotly pursued by a rival gang, the pair travel across country. Ross hopes Vivian will eventually lead him to Dexter and Ames, but Vivian is wise to Rosss scheme...
