Story: The wife of a publishing executive mistakenly believes that her husbands relationship with his attractive secretary is more than professional.

Magazine publisher Van Stanhope is a hard-working, dynamic executive, very happily married to his beautiful wife Linda. Although their relationship is built on unconditional trust, friends caution her about the dangers of allowing Whitey, her husbands extremely sexy secretary, to continue to have access to him. Even Vans mother warns Linda that Vans father philandered during their marriage, and Van, like all men, will eventually succumb to opportunity and temptation. Although Whitey has a faithful boyfriend, she secretly harbors unrequited feelings for her boss. When they take a business trip to Havana, circumstantial evidence convinces Linda that the rumors shes heard might have a basis in fact.

In New York, magazine publisher Van "V.S." Stanhope and his beloved wife Linda have been happily married for three years and are very much in love. Van is a dynamic executive of Stanhope Publications and works very closely with his dedicated, efficient secretary Helen "Whitey" Wilson, a beautiful young woman engaged to Dave. When Vans mother Mimi poisons Linda about the relationship of her son with his secretary, Linda becomes jealous of her. Whitey and Dave have an argument and she breaks with him. Meanwhile Van is secretly planning to buy a magazine owned by Underwood, and Whitey helps him with the strategy. When Whitey discovers that the competitor Hanson House is also disputing the magazine, she travels to Havana to help Van close the business with Underwood. They succeed mightily and celebrate until late into the night. When Linda calls Van at 2:00 AM, Whitey answers the phone and Linda believes that Van really is having an affair with Whitey. In the end, dont look for trouble where theres none, because if you dont find it, youll make it.
