Episode Info: There is no peace in Africa for natures giant killers. Hippo, elephant, buffalo and others battle it out to become Africas deadliest. If theyre not being targeted by gangs of lions, hyenas or other predators, then theyre fighting amongst themselves. Sometimes offense is their best defense, and then theres nothing more terrifying than watching an enormous peace-loving animal turn on the temper. There will be blood.

Story: Africa is a land sculpted by time where animals have evolved complex weapons to arm them in the battle to live another day. An elephants tusks can defend, or attack. An octopus uses camouflage to find food, or hide from an enemy. A Cape Fur Seals speed and agility are valuable tools to catch a penguin, but ineffectual against a Great White Shark. A single hippopotamus holds a pride of twelve lions at bay with his sheer bulk, but backs down when faced with the piercing teeth of another hippo.
