Episode Info: Mr Khan must drop his daughter Alia off for her first day at university--in Scotland. Mrs Khan wants the whole family to come, so Mr Khan must find a way to get the whole lot of them from Sparkhill to Glasgow. When the car breaks down, he is forced to improvise alternative travel arrangements, which gives them all plenty of time to reminisce about Alias early years.

Like many of us hes struggling to make ends meet, but hes proud of his thriftiness--witness his 1979 suit and ancient yellow Mercedes. Things would be so much easier if everyone just listened to him and followed his lead, but his obsessively house-proud wife and two feisty daughters have other ideas.
