Episode Info: For once, his brothers are jealous of Sam now steady date Angela invites him to her parents Thanksgiving diner. That requires bailing dads favorite, boys-only holiday- even the Three Stooges TV marathon happens to be canceled. The other boys (well, the senior literally twisting the kids arms) decide to surprise disappointed Nick with home-cooked turkey while hes called for a fire. Alas, the last bird on sale is alive, and sort of scary. Sam discovers picture-perfect families have their own drawbacks.

Story: A single dad is trying to bring up his unruly sons on his own, as well as work as a fireman with his brother Jimmy, after their mother ran off 10 years before.

Single father Nick Savage runs a macho household, having five school-age sons, all rowdy slobs except sensitive, polite nerd Sam, who nevertheless envies dating-slick athlete Shawn. That changes when distantly admired Angela becomes his steady date, a base nine of his brothers ever reached or would admit wanting. Nicks younger brother and fire department colleague Jimmy is their welcome regular guest, but frankly serves as bad adult example of irresponsibility.
