Episode Info: A nerdy bookstore clerk with an obsession for McGarrett turns deadly as he re-creates some of Five-Os most famous cases that were covered in a series of magazine articles. He is so brazen that he even calls McGarrett to brag about his crimes and sends him notes. Now McGarrett and the rest of the Five-O team must find the killer before he strikes again.

Story: The investigations of Hawaii Five-0, an elite branch of the Hawaii State Police answerable only to the governor and headed by stalwart Steve McGarrett.

Five-0 was a special state police unit answering only to the Governor of Hawaii. It worked with Honolulu police to fight the underworld in the island state. Sooner or later virtually all the bad guys heard Steve McGarrett grunt "Book em, Danno!" though chief bad guy Wo Fat was caught after MacArthur left the series.

Although based in Downtown Honolulu in the Iolani Palace, the men of Hawaii Five-0 are members of the Hawaii State Police, and are accountable to the Governor of Hawaii. Led by Steve McGarrett, its mission is to deal with "organized crime, murder, assassination attempts, foreign agents, felonies of every type".
