Episode Info: Alex Kelsey, a lawyer involved with mobster Din Lee, kills a dying Japanese man. The dead man had been a Japanese operative at the time of Pearl Harbor. Kelsey believes the dead man had a secret stash of gold. Kazuo Tahashi, the dead mans son, arrives from San Francisco. But Tahashi isnt all what he appears to be, either. Meanwhile, in the background is retired U.S. Navy Commander Reginald Blackwell, who had been an operative in Naval intelligence. McGarrett & Co. must try to put the pieces of this jigsaw puzzle together.

Story: The investigations of Hawaii Five-0, an elite branch of the Hawaii State Police answerable only to the governor and headed by stalwart Steve McGarrett.

Five-0 was a special state police unit answering only to the Governor of Hawaii. It worked with Honolulu police to fight the underworld in the island state. Sooner or later virtually all the bad guys heard Steve McGarrett grunt "Book em, Danno!" though chief bad guy Wo Fat was caught after MacArthur left the series.

Although based in Downtown Honolulu in the Iolani Palace, the men of Hawaii Five-0 are members of the Hawaii State Police, and are accountable to the Governor of Hawaii. Led by Steve McGarrett, its mission is to deal with "organized crime, murder, assassination attempts, foreign agents, felonies of every type".
