Episode Info: Sunny Mandell, a teenage runaway, holes up in Honolulu with a man who helped her back in Los Angeles. But the helpful man is a gangster with a grudge against Sunnys father, a Los Angeles cop who sent him to a California prison. The gangster takes Sunny to a hotel where he murders an associate and forces Sunny to take hold of the murder weapon, leaving her fingerprints on it. Sunnys father has meanwhile arrived in Honolulu and consulted with McGarrett about the connection. With the unlikely help of a Peeping Tom who witnessed the murder with his telescope, they clear...

Story: The investigations of Hawaii Five-0, an elite branch of the Hawaii State Police answerable only to the governor and headed by stalwart Steve McGarrett.

Five-0 was a special state police unit answering only to the Governor of Hawaii. It worked with Honolulu police to fight the underworld in the island state. Sooner or later virtually all the bad guys heard Steve McGarrett grunt "Book em, Danno!" though chief bad guy Wo Fat was caught after MacArthur left the series.

Although based in Downtown Honolulu in the Iolani Palace, the men of Hawaii Five-0 are members of the Hawaii State Police, and are accountable to the Governor of Hawaii. Led by Steve McGarrett, its mission is to deal with "organized crime, murder, assassination attempts, foreign agents, felonies of every type".
