Episode Info: Olivia "Liv" Moore was a rosy-cheeked, disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out, until the night she attended a party that unexpectedly turned into a zombie feeding frenzy. Now as one of the newly undead, Liv has devised a clever way to resist her baser urges to devour fresh human brains - shes taken a job in the Seattle coroners office. In this appropriately dead-end job, Liv can secretly snack on the brains of the many Jane and John Doe corpses that make a final stop in the morgue.

Story: A medical resident finds that being a zombie has its perks, which she uses to assist the police.

Medical student Liv Moore gets invited in a party that turns into a macabre zombie arena. She wakes up from the dead and becomes a zombie. She must eat human brains to maintain her humanity, so she goes to work in the coroners office to access them. Eating a brain gives her that persons traits and memories, so she helps Detective Clive Babineaux solve the murder as a psychic.

Liv Moore is a medical resident with a promising career and a fiancé, but when she goes to a boat party, she gets turned into a zombie after getting scratched by one. Now she has completely changed her life--broken off her engagement and traded her job for one at the morgue, where, after eating a murder victims brain, she gets visions that can be used to solve the murder. But she struggles because she is unable to share her true identity with her family and friends.
