Episode Info: The evil spirit of a murdered gangster who loved classical music is somehow incinerating his former enemies, while simultaneously trying to take to live again.

Story: Carl Kolchak is a reporter for a Chicago newspaper. Through more accident than design he ends up investigating homicides, many of which involve supernatural forces. Ultimately, rather than reporting on the crimes, he solves them.

Carl Kolchak was a reporter for Chicagos Independent News Service, and a trouble magnet for situations involving the supernatural. Kolchak turned his investigative skills to vampires, werewolves, zombies and all manner of legendary creatures, but in the end he always failed to convince his skeptical editor, Tony Vincenzo, that the stories werent products of Kolchaks own overworked imagination.
