Episode Info: When Daves relief manager lets him down at short notice he asks Terry to step into the breach and run the Winchester Club for him. Daves failure to show up the following day gets Terry and Arthur worrying, not least because they need to attend court in Daves place in order to apply for the renewal of the Clubs licence - firmly opposed by Detective Sergeant Rycott.

Story: Arthur Daley, a small-time conman, hires former boxer Terry McCann to be his "minder" and protect him from other small-time crooks. While Terry is putting his life at risk as he tries his hardest to satisfy his employers demands, Arthur is busy exploiting Terry for all he is worth. When other people hire Terrys services through Arthur, Arthur usually keeps most of Terrys share of the money for himself by misleading the hard-working Terry about the amount of money he (as Terrys agent) is receiving on Terrys behalf. —David McAnally <D.McAnally@uq.net.au> .
