Episode Info: Joel and the Bots sit through two shorts, one about water skiing and the other about a strange man who terrorizes wildlife in the Florida Everglades. In Teenage Cave Man (1958), a rebellious cave boy goes against clan rules and wants to explore horizons beyond the river. Joel and the Bots battle boredom on the SOL, present creative ipecacs at the invention exchange, and try to patch things up when the Mads start fighting.

Story: In the not-too-distant future Joel Robinson is held captive by Dr. Forrester and TVs Frank, forced to watch B-Grade movies on the Satellite of Love with the help of his robot friends: Cambot, Gypsy, Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot.

When zany mad scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester and his loopy assistant Frank get bored with their work at the Deep Thirteen research center, they kidnap Joel the janitor and shoot him into orbit on the Satellite of Love. While in space Joel builds wacky robot sidekicks Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot to help him withstand an onslaught of grade Z movies that the mad scientists force him to watch.

Basically its about a guy (Mike Nelson) and his two robot buddies (Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot) forced to watch bad movies. The story line during the host segments has changed over the seasons, but it is essentially the same.
