Episode Info: Christines about to start her first day as a judge but shes preoccupied with finding Harry to tell him that she convinced the Mayor to reappoint him. But he left before she could tell him and is planning some childish prank. And her first session doesnt turn out so well and she freaks out. And they try to keep anyone from finding out Harrys not around but when the Mayor calls Mac has Dan pretend to be Harry. And when someone comes to begin Harrys reappointment and when he sees Dan talking to the Mayor, he assumes Dan is Harry and he wants him to sign something ...

Story: An eccentric fun-loving judge presides over an urban night court and all the silliness going on there.

Judge Harold T. Stone presides over "Night Court", a court which deals with petty crimes which can be dealt with in a dime-a-dozen manner. Invariably, the cases appearing before the court are bizarre, but thats ok because Judge Stone is not your regular judge. Hes assisted by a motley crew of clerks and District Attorneys who often create as much chaos as the criminals they bring in for trial.
