Episode Info: Larry is leading a team of players who work at the paper against a team led by Gorpley in a bowling competition. And Larry thinks they have a good chance to win. That is until Gorpley sends the teams star player out of town when the final will be. Larry needs to find a replacement. Balki incorporates a game from his country and does well, so Larry makes him part of the team. And he is sure they can win, that is until Balki shows up for the game having just come from the eye doctor who placed medication in his eyes which impairs his vision.

Story: A high-strung and cynical mans life is never the same when his naive but good-natured cousin comes to America to live with him.

Balki Bartokomous, a sheepherder from the small Mediterranean Greek-like island of Mypos, travels to the United States in search of his relatives. He finds his cousin, Larry Appleton - who has recently escaped from his large-sized family and is reveling in the unaccustomed luxury of having his own room to himself. They end up sharing accommodation in Larrys apartment - even though the two cousins could not be more dissimilar. For, while Larry is panicky, hyperventilative, business-like and mercenary - Balki is placid, unharried, sunny-natured and idealistic.
