Episode Info: Professor Nick Cutters wife Helen disappeared eight years ago. When his student Connor Temple tells him of a strange creature sighted in the place of her disappearance he goes there to investigate.

Story: When strange anomalies start to appear all over England, Professor Cutter and his team must track down and capture all sorts of dangerous prehistoric creatures from Earths distant past and near future.

In 1998, Professor Nick Cutters wife Helen disappeared through a rupture in time known as an anomaly. Eight years later anomalies to different points in Earths history are beginning to appear all over London, bringing with them dangerous prehistoric creatures. To combat the anomaly threat, government officials James Lester and Claudia Brown form a research team led by Professor Cutter (in later series, Danny Quinn and Matt Anderson) with the aim of capturing the creatures and sending them back to their own time.
