Episode Info: The Spider-Friends are hired by the counter-terrorism agency S.H.I.E.L.D. to capture a mutant named Lightwave, who is said to be after the Guarstar satellite. Lightwave who turns out to be Aurora Dante, a half-sister of Iceman/Bobby Drake. The Spider-Friends and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents learn that Lightwave (whose mutant power is to control and manipulate light energy) is being controlled by someone else who is after the Guardstar.

Story: Spider-Man battles crime in New York City with the help of Iceman and Firestar.

In this series, Spider-Man forms a close friendship and alliance with two superheroes, Iceman and Firestar. Together, the group, informally known as "The Spider Friends", battle crime in New York City. Along the way, they not only face Spider-Mans own enemies, but also other major Marvel Comics villians like the Red Skull and Doctor Doom while also meeting other heroes of the Marvel Universe.
