Episode Info: Carols car is doing pretty much everything except running correctly so she and Frank decide they need a new car. Frank brings Carol to his pals car lot. Frank tries to get a good deal but Carol gets the better deal. J.T. has a date so he uses Carols car, then someone borrows the car from J.T. Penny finds a man who is a mortician. She brings him over for dinner at Frank and Carols but he talks about his job too much.

Story: Two families become one, step by step.

Frank Lambert is a construction worker and a single father of 3 kids: J.T., Alicia "Al", and Brendan. Carol Foster, a beautician, also has 3 children: Dana, Karen, and Mark. After Frank and Carol run into each other on vacation and spontaneously get married, they and their children (who appeared to have known and hated each other) have to learn to live together and love each other. Its not easy, but they are trying to do this step by step.
